A grand eye-catching ‘instagrammable’ design for the gateway entrance to a new high-rise development
Having analysed the opportunities and constraints of the site, SFA prepared a schematic design for the landscape of the drop-off zone and a series of options for the design of a striking gateway feature at the outer vehicular entrance.
Three design options were developed to explore and test the client’s preferences:
- A highly sculpted form, in contrast to the architecture but possibly picking out some of the colours
- A sequence of box-like forms, reflecting the architectural forms and colours
- Striking natural forms, which echo the petal-like shapes of the development’s logo.
