This new public park, on the margins of a natural lake, is a focus for East Jakarta’s Asya township. It is designed for intensive use with promenades and restaurant terraces, play areas, sloping lawns, islands and scenic lookouts.  The lawns and principal lookouts are sited at key gateways to the neighbouring development, connected by boardwalks, bridges, decks and trails which link across more natural riparian zones. 

The park must accommodate seasonal flooding, with extensive rain gardens and secondary basins, which will fill during the rainy season.
