Stephen is particularly skilled in the design and detailing of urban landscapes and is responsible for the exceptional high quality of Sheils Flynn's implemented design projects. He regularly works with landscape contractors to develop innovative methods for design implementation and has a reputation for meticulous attention to detail.
Stephen is a fluent Bahasa speaker and regularly leads projects in Indonesia as well as the UK. His experience includes the design of public open spaces, new settlements, urban extensions, sculpture parks, tourist facilities and river restoration projects. Sheils Flynn has played a leading role in the development of best practice in relation to Shared Space and Steve has particular expertise in this field. His project work is always founded on detailed appraisal and analysis of the landscape context and a thorough understanding of planning policy.
